Check in every two hours, not every two weeks

Ask for something and follow up two hours later, and you’ve told the other side it’s urgent; wait two weeks and you’ve told them it isn’t. Hormozi’s point is that cadence itself is a message — people price your urgency off your intervals and match the tempo you set. Most cycle time isn’t work, it’s dead air between check-ins, and that part you control.

💡 Why it matters

The gap you leave between follow-ups is read as a signal of how much the thing matters to you — and long gaps are where deals, approvals and campaigns quietly die.
